Three writers have been shortlisted for the 2020 Toto Award for Creative Writing in Kannada. They are (in no particular order):
1. Chaitrika Naik, Siddapura, Uttara Kannada
2. Shashi Tarikere, Bengaluru
3. Musthafa K H, Mangaluru

The winner will be announced at the Toto Awards function in Bengaluru on 15 February 2020.
