Five applicants have been shortlisted for the 2019 Toto Awards for Creative Writing in English. Two have submitted poems, two have entered short stories, and one has sent in a play. They are (in no particular order):
1. Riddhi Dastidar, New Delhi
2. Zoya Chadha, New Delhi
3. Shreya Ila Anasuya, Mumbai
4. Swati Simha, Delhi
5. Lavanya Lakshminarayan, Bengaluru
The two winners will be revealed at the Toto Awards function on January 18, 2019, in Bengaluru.
