From a long-list of 30 entries for the Toto Awards for English Creative Writing 2022, the jury has selected four writers (two poets and two fiction writers) for the shortlist. Their names, in no particular order, are:
1. Aswin Vijayan (Kozhikode)
2. Priyanka Sutaria (Nagpur)
3. Solomon Maria Donald (Bengaluru)
4. Uday Kanungo (Bhubaneswar)
TFA congratulates the shortlisted writers and wishes them best of luck!
The two winners, who will each receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000, will be announced at the online Toto Awards ceremony in February 2022.
The English Creative Writing Awards are being supported by the Mani Rao Foundation and Naboneeta Majumdar (in memory of Dipali and Nitai Majumdar).
